Introduction

Welcome to IMAGINARIUM, a role-playing game designed to be played solo. Unlike traditional role-playing games that require a game master and other players, IMAGINARIUM allows you to create and experience exciting adventures on your own.

The principle is simple: you create a character, define an initial quest, and use the game mechanics and oracles to determine what happens in your adventure. Oracles are tables that introduce random elements into your story, creating surprises and unexpected twists.

The major appeal of IMAGINARIUM lies in its ability to generate rich and unpredictable stories while remaining accessible. The game system is designed to be simple yet deep, allowing for quick immersion while offering enough complexity to maintain your interest over time.

Introduction to IMAGINARIUM

What You Need

  • A ten-sided die (D10): To resolve actions and tests
  • A pencil and a notebook: To record the details of your story
  • The character sheet: To note characteristics and track evolution
  • Your imagination: The most important element!

Game Mechanics

🎲

Dice Rolls

IMAGINARIUM uses only a 10-sided die (D10) to resolve all game actions. The simplicity of the system allows you to focus on the story.

Karma Points

Each test performed earns you 1 Karma point, whether you succeed or fail. These points allow you to recover characteristics or avoid death.

🏹

Test Rolls

Roll a D10 to determine the success of an action. A result greater than 5 is a success. In case of failure, you can spend characteristic points to succeed.
